  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 cups of diced seedless watermelon
  • 1/4 cup of fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of honey adjust to taste
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

Get Started:

  • First things first, give your watermelon and mint leaves a good rinse under cold water.
  • Chop up the watermelon into small cubes, making sure to remove any seeds.

Brew The Tea:

  • Grab a saucepan and bring your water to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  • Once it’s bubbling away, toss in your diced watermelon and mint leaves.
  • Let everything simmer together for about 5 minutes to really infuse those flavors.

Sweeten Things Up:

  • Once your tea base is looking and smelling amazing, take it off the heat and strain out all the solid bits into a pitcher.
  • Add in your honey and give it a good stir. Feel free to adjust the sweetness to your liking.

Chill And Enjoy:

  • Let your tea cool down to room temperature before popping it in the fridge to chill for at least an hour.
  • When you’re ready to serve, pour it over some ice cubes in glasses.
  • Top each glass off with a sprig of fresh mint for that extra wow factor.
