Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 tablespoons dried Turkey Tail mushrooms
  • 2 cups water
  • Honey or other sweetener optional
  • Lemon or ginger slices optional

Instructions
 

  • Prep The Mushrooms: Break the dried Turkey Tail mushrooms into smaller pieces using your hands or a mortar and pestle. Aim for a mix of sizes for optimal extraction of the good stuff.
  • Simmer & Steep: Add the mushrooms and water to a saucepan. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and let it steep for 15-20 minutes. Cover the pot to trap the beneficial compounds.
  • Strain & Savor: Strain the tea using a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth. Enjoy it warm as is, or add a touch of honey for sweetness or lemon/ginger for a zesty kick.
