Ingredients
  

For The Tea Base:

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags

For The Spice Infusion:

  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 4 cardamom pods slightly crushed
  • 1- inch fresh ginger sliced
  • 2 tablespoons honey adjust to taste
  • 1 orange peel optional, for a citrusy twist

Instructions
 

Brewing The Tea Base

  • Start by bringing 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium-sized pot. Once the water reaches a boil, add the black tea bags.
  • Allow them to steep for 5-7 minutes or until a rich, dark color is achieved. After removing the tea bags, reserve the brewed tea.

Creating The Spice Infusion

  • Add the cinnamon stick, whole cloves, crushed cardamom pods, and sliced ginger to the same pot. These spices will add depth and warmth to your tea.
  • Simmer the spices in the brewed tea over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir in honey, adjusting the sweetness to your preference.

Straining And Serving

  • After the spice infusion, strain the tea to remove the spices and ginger slices. Pour the spiced tea into your favorite mugs and garnish with an optional twist of orange peel for a citrusy aroma.
