Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 chai tea bags
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons honey or to taste
  • 2 cups milk whole, almond, or oat
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream optional, for topping
  • Cinnamon stick optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

Brew The Chai Tea

  • Start by boiling 2 cups of water in a small saucepan. Once it reaches a rolling boil, remove it from the heat and add the chai tea bags. Let them steep for 5 minutes to fully release their flavors.

Mix In The Pumpkin Puree

  • While the tea is steeping, whisk together the canned pumpkin puree, honey, and pumpkin pie spice in a separate bowl until smooth. This mixture will give your latte that classic pumpkin flavor we all love.

Combine The Ingredients

  • After the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags and place the saucepan back on low heat. Slowly whisk in the pumpkin mixture until well combined.

Add The Milk

  • Stirring continuously, add the milk to the saucepan little by little. The mixture should be heated to a warm but not boiling point. Stir in the vanilla extract for that extra touch of sweetness.

Froth And Serve

  • If you have a milk frother, now’s the time to use it! Froth the latte to your desired level of creaminess. If not, no worries—you can whisk it by hand to create a little foam. Pour the latte into your favorite mug, top with whipped cream, and garnish with a cinnamon stick if you like.
