Ingredients
  

For The Tea Base:

  • 2 teaspoons of high-quality loose-leaf black tea or tea bags
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3-4 whole cloves
  • 1- inch fresh ginger thinly sliced
  • 2-3 cardamom pods lightly crushed
  • 1 star anise
  • 4-5 black peppercorns

For Sweetening (Optional):

  • Stevia leaves or stevia extract to taste
  • A touch of raw honey or agave syrup optional

Instructions
 

Boil The Water:

  • Start by bringing 2 cups of water to a gentle boil in a pot.

Add Spices:

  • Once the water is boiling, add the black tea, cinnamon stick, cloves, ginger, cardamom pods, star anise, and black peppercorns. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes.

Steep The Tea:

  • Turn off the heat and let the tea steep for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse thoroughly.

Strain The Tea:

  • Strain the tea into your favorite cup or teapot, removing the tea leaves and spices.

Sweeten To Taste:

  • If desired, add stevia leaves or extract for sweetness. You can include a teaspoon of raw honey or agave syrup for a touch of natural sweetness.
