Instructions
Step 1: Preparing The Herbal Blend
Measure The Herbs: Start by measuring all the herbs (fennel, fenugreek, anise, blessed thistle, milk thistle, nettle leaf, and red raspberry leaf). These are available online and at most health food stores.
Mix The Herbs: Combine all the herbs in a bowl. This blend will be the base for your tea.
Step 2: Brewing The Tea
Boil The Water: Pour 4 cups of water into a pot and bring it to a boil.
Add The Herbal Blend: Once the water reaches a rolling boil, add the herbal blend to the pot.
Simmer: Reduce the heat to low and let the herbs simmer for about 10-15 minutes. This allows all the beneficial properties to infuse into the water.
Step 3: Straining And Serving
Strain The Tea: After simmering, use a fine mesh strainer to strain the tea into a teapot or directly into cups.
Sweeten And Flavor: Add honey or maple syrup if you like your tea sweet. A slice of lemon can also add a refreshing twist.
Step 4: Enjoying Your Mother’s Milk Tea
Pour the tea into your favorite mug and enjoy it warm. It’s best to drink this tea 2-3 times a day to support milk production.
