Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups milk any type works – I love using oat milk!
  • 3 oz white chocolate chopped
  • 1 tsp matcha powder sifted
  • 1 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: Toasted pink marshmallows whipped cream

Instructions
 

Heat The Milk

  • After adding the milk to a saucepan, heat it over medium heat. Stir occasionally to prevent scalding. Don’t let it boil – just heat it until it’s steaming.

Melt The White Chocolate

  • To the warm milk, add the chopped white chocolate. Stir gently until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Prepare The Matcha

  • In a small bowl, whisk the sifted matcha powder with a tablespoon of hot water using a tea strainer or a small whisk. This ensures no clumps and creates a smooth paste.

Combine

  • Slowly pour the matcha paste into the white chocolate milk. Whisk thoroughly until the green tea and chocolate are well blended. Add the honey and a pinch of salt, then whisk again.

Serve And Enjoy

  • Pour the Matcha Hot Chocolate into your favorite mugs. Top with toasted marshmallows or a dollop of whipped cream for extra indulgence. Sip and enjoy the creamy, earthy, and sweet flavors!
