2tablespoonshoney or sweetener of choice

Instructions
Step 1: Boil The Water
Begin by bringing 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium-sized pot. Using fresh, filtered water will ensure the best flavor for your tea.
Step 2: Add The Spices
Once the water is boiling, add the cinnamon sticks, ground cinnamon, whole cloves, star anise, and orange zest (if using). Let the spices simmer in the boiling water for about 5 minutes to infuse their flavors.
Step 3: Brew The Tea
After the spices have simmered, add the black tea bags or loose leaf tea. Allow the tea to steep for 5 minutes, ensuring the water has absorbed all the rich flavors from the tea and spices.
Step 4: Sweeten And Flavor
Remove the pot from heat and carefully strain the tea into a teapot or another container to remove the spices and tea leaves.
Add honey or your preferred sweetener, stirring until fully dissolved. For an extra layer of flavor, stir in the vanilla extract.
Step 5: Serve And Enjoy
Pour the hot cinnamon spice tea into mugs. If you prefer a creamier tea, add a splash of milk or cream to each cup.
Serve immediately and enjoy the warming, aromatic flavors of this delightful beverage.
