Start by bringing 2 cups of water to a gentle boil in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add Ginger:
Once the water is bubbling away, toss in the thinly sliced fresh ginger and let it mingle with the water.
Simmer:
Lower the heat to a simmer and let the ginger work its magic in the water for about 5 minutes. This step allows the ginger to infuse its flavor into the water, giving our tea its signature kick.
Prepare Tea Concentrate:
While the ginger is doing its thing, grab a teapot or heatproof pitcher and add 2 tablespoons of honey citron tea concentrate to it.
Strain Ginger Water:
After the ginger has been simmering for 5 minutes, take the saucepan off the heat and strain the ginger-infused water into your teapot or pitcher. Say goodbye to those ginger slices—they’ve done their job!
Sweeten:
Time to add a touch of sweetness! Pour in 2 tablespoons of honey (or more, if you like it sweeter) into the teapot or pitcher.
Mix Well:
Give everything a good stir to make sure the honey citron tea concentrate and honey are nicely mixed with the ginger-infused water.
