Ingredients

  • 4 cups sweetened brewed black tea cooled
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar or honey optional, for extra sweetness
  • Fresh fruit slices lemon, orange, and pineapple for garnish
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  • Brew The Tea: Start by brewing 4 cups of black tea. Sweeten it with sugar while it’s hot, then let it cool down to room temperature. I like to use black tea because it gives the best flavor, but feel free to experiment with different types if you’re feeling adventurous!
  • Mix The Juices: In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, orange juice, and pineapple juice. Give it a good stir until everything is well mixed.
  • Combine The Tea And Juices: Once your tea is cooled, pour it into the juice mixture. Stir to combine and taste. If you want it a bit sweeter, add an extra tablespoon of sugar or honey to your liking.
  • Chill And Serve: Add plenty of ice cubes to the pitcher and toss in some fresh fruit slices for that classic Southern look. To allow the flavors to merge together, let it sit in the fridge for at least half an hour before serving.
  • Garnish And Enjoy: Pour the fruit tea into glasses, garnish with a slice of lemon, orange, or pineapple, and enjoy the refreshing taste of Tennessee in every sip!
