Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon fresh mint leaves
  • Optional: honey to taste

Instructions
 

Step 1: Boil The Water

  • In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.

Step 2: Add The Ingredients

  • Once the water is boiling, add the grated ginger and fennel seeds to the saucepan. Allow them to simmer for 5 minutes to infuse the water with their flavors.

Step 3: Steep The Tea

  • After 5 minutes, remove the saucepan from the heat and add the fresh lemon juice and mint leaves. Cover the saucepan and let the tea steep for an additional 3-5 minutes.

Step 4: Strain And Serve

  • Once the tea has steeped, strain it into mugs or cups to remove the ginger, fennel seeds, and mint leaves. Add honey to taste if desired.
