Instructions
Raspberry Syrup Preparation
In a small saucepan, combine raspberries and 1 cup of water.
Bring to a simmer, then add honey or sugar.
Allow the mixture to simmer until the raspberries break down and the liquid reduces slightly, creating a syrup.
Strain the mixture to remove the seeds and set the syrup aside.
Brewing The Tea
Heat 3 cups of water in a kettle until boiling.
Steep the tea bags or loose-leaf tea in hot water for 3-5 minutes.
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature after removing the tea bags or straining the loose tea.
Cooking Boba Pearls
Boil a pot of water and add tapioca pearls.
Cook the boba as per the package instructions until they are soft and chewy.
Drain and rinse the cooked boba under cold water.
Assembling The Boba Tea
In a glass, add a few tablespoons of the raspberry syrup.
Add a generous scoop of cooked boba pearls.
Pour in the brewed tea.
Chill the tea by adding ice cubes.
Optional: Add a splash of milk or a milk alternative for a creamy version.
