Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of milk use dairy or plant-based milk
  • 4 green cardamom pods slightly crushed
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger optional, for a spiced kick
  • 2 teaspoons tea powder or 2 tea bags
  • 2-3 teaspoons sugar adjust to taste

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare The Base

  • In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.
  • Add the crushed green cardamom pods and grated ginger. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to infuse the water with the flavors.

Step 2: Add Tea And Milk

  • Stir in the tea powder (or tea bags) and let it brew for 2 minutes.
  • Pour in the milk and stir well. Allow the mixture to simmer for another 3-4 minutes.

Step 3: Sweeten And Strain

  • Add sugar to the saucepan and stir until dissolved.
  • Strain the tea into serving glasses or mugs to remove the cardamom, ginger, and tea leaves.

Step 4: Serve And Enjoy

  • Serve the tea hot and enjoy it with your favorite snack, like biscuits or pakoras.
