  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger

  • 1 teaspoon raw honey optional

  • A few fresh mint leaves optional

Instructions
 

  • Boil The Water: Start by boiling the water in a small saucepan.
  • Simmer The Spices: Reduce the heat to low and add the turmeric, ginger, and black pepper. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes to allow the spices to infuse their flavors and nutrients into the water.
  • Steep The Green Tea: Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the green tea leaves and mint leaves (if using), cover, and let steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Steeping for too long should be avoided to avoid bitterness.
